The Frankfort Panthers lost against the Glen Lake Lakers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Frankfort was beaten by the Lakers 57-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Frankfort has scored all season.
Glen Lake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Plamondon led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Dylan Cundiff was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Glen Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankfort will take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benzie Central will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Glen Lake, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Leland has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19.
