They took  a  6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maine-Endwell Spartans.  Elmira's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Maine-Endwell, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elmira will  take on Horseheads at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Maine-Endwell, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Johnson City at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
