The Enumclaw Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sammamish RedHawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Enumclaw will be looking to keep their 12-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Enumclaw put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They really took it to White River for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-6 victory at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.
Enumclaw's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gunnar Trachte, who threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Neu, who gained 78 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Sammamish didn't have too much trouble with Interlake at home on Friday as they won 30-13. The win was just what Sammamish needed coming off of a 48-8 defeat in their prior contest.
Ty Webster was on fire: he rushed for 278 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Webster hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for nine straight games.
Their wins bumped Enumclaw to 9-0 and Sammamish to 5-4.
