Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley had a senior duo take command as Trey Fleming picked up 225 receiving yards and two touchdowns and Brody Dittman threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes. Fleming's longest reception was for an incredible 97 yards. Owen Bish was another key contributor, rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Punxsutawney's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookville. Despite 139 more yards than Brookville, Punxsutawney couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Despite their loss, Punxsutawney saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Landon Martz, who rushed for 131 yards, was perhaps the best of all.
