There's no place like home for Elcho, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Marion Mustangs on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Elcho easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Luci Pukall and Isabelle Multhauf, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Payton Malitz and her 11 assists. Malorie Malitz and Kayla Siemers kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Elcho's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Marion, they dropped their record down to 11-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Elcho and Marion will both be playing White Lake the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Lakers on Saturday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
