Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They came out on top against the Clark Eagles by a score of 23-20 on Tuesday. The Rough Riders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Adrian Vera was incredible, getting on base in all six of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and three RBI. Roosevelt is 2-1 when Vera posts two or more runs, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Rigoberto Padilla Puerto, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Clark, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Roosevelt has already played their next game (against Orr), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Clark will be paying especially close attention to the Rough Riders' match: after the Rough Riders face off against Collins, they'll take on Clark again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
