Franklinton hasn't had much luck against Northern Nash recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Franklinton Red Rams just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Northern Nash Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Franklinton sitting on three straight victories and Northern Nash on 12.
On Monday, Franklinton narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Southern Nash 61-58.

Zymir Lipscomb had a dynamite game for Franklinton, putting up 16 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Lipscomb a new career-high in points. Kirby Ransom was another key player, earning nine points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northern Nash posted their closest victory since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged Rocky Mount out 77-74. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Gryphons are ranked 222nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Northern Nash's win came from a few key players Franklinton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jah'Marzea Williams, who went 9-for-10 en route to 18 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Rosser Jr., who went 7-for-17 on his way to 25 points.
Northern Nash smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.
Northern Nash pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points over those games. As for Franklinton, their record is now 12-13.
Franklinton took a serious blow against Northern Nash in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 89-55. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Rosser Jr., who went 9-for-13 to rack up 26 points and five rebounds.
