They never let South Medford onto the board and left with  a   13-0  victory  on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Sheldon, who have now won four matches by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
  Payton Burnham made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Burnham has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Burnham was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Brooke Peterson, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.  Soraya Dorsey was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 South Eugene's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sheldon, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
