Gateway took down Aurora Central 63-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Olympians led 5A Aurora in scoring this week after putting up 63 points on the Trojans.
Quincy Brown was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 161 yards on five carries as Denver East bested Adams City. Teammate Shahid Hoover added to the ground attack by rushing for 154 yards.
Rangeview's Darien Odegard and Areleous Hughes have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Odegard has thrown for 688 yards this season, while Hughes, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 12 catches for 272 yards. Jeffery Tootle from Aurora Central leads the league in rushing with 650 yards.
The top two teams in 5A Aurora will face off this week when first place Gateway takes on second place Rangeview. Last week, Gateway beat Taylor Calvert's team, while the Raiders bested Hinkley.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Rangeview takes on Justin Hoffman's team. David Gonzales' team has allowed 131 points this season, while the Olympians have given up 41. The Raiders allowed 13 points last week as they defeated the Thunderbirds.
The Trojans made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,749 from 11,981. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 63-0 victory over Aurora Central last week.
