Ryan came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 41-7 victory over the Brewer Bears. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won five games by 24 points or more so far this season.

Quin Henigan was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 36 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 187 yards on 13 of 20 attempts. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rontavian Brown, who rushed for 79 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

Ryan's run defense was locked in: Brewer could only muster two yards per carry. While one picked up at least six total tackles, Uzziah Warmate stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made six total tackles (5.0 for loss). Ryan's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.6.

Ryan's record now sits at 8-1. As for Brewer, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Ryan and Brewer should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Raiders will take on Birdville at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th with a big rank advantage (34 vs. 268). Meanwhile, Brewer (ranked 155th) will meet Granbury (ranked 560th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
