The East Hampton Bellringers will challenge the Hale Ray Noises at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hampton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.
East Hampton gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Westbrook as they made off with a 21-10 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bellringers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.
Allison Jacobsen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and five unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Emily Jovel was a standout: she went 5-for-6 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.2 RBI per game. Another player making a difference was Neha Sidana, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
East Hampton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .489. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Hale Ray has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.09 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 19-0 to North Branford. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Noises' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Hale Ray saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Kalisz, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
East Hampton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hale Ray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. East Hampton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hale Ray struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
East Hampton might still be hurting after the 13-1 defeat they got from Hale Ray when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bellringers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
