Given West Forsyth's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Glenn is ranked 530th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Emma Staples, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her. Alexis Waters was another key contributor, scoring three points along with nine rebounds.
West Forsyth's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Glenn, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
