It was another big night for Raby, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 24 boards. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Morrow, who posted 15 points and four steals.
Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Christian had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They took down Varsity Opponent 59-45.
Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy better keep an eye on Haymer. He was instrumental in Lighthouse Christian's win, almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, 16 rebounds, and nine blocks. Haymer is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Kolby Matthews was another key player, putting up 18 points.
Lighthouse Christian pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy and Lighthouse Christian are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.5 points per game. However, it's not like Lighthouse Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.7 points.
