Softball Recap: Covenant Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against East Jefferson

While Covenant Christian Academy put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for East Jefferson. Covenant Christian Academy blew past East Jefferson 18-0. Considering the Lions have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Covenant Christian Academy back to even at 7-7. As for East Jefferson, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Covenant Christian Academy has already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Central Lafourche on the 25th. As for East Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 26-25 loss against Bonnabel on the 25th.
