George Washington extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jeremiah Trimm. The Patriots came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 79-75 W against the Clovis West Golden Eagles for which the team can thank Trimm, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 17.8 points per game.

Tre Borne was another key player, putting up five points and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

George Washington's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Clovis West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

George Washington has already played their next contest, a 71-58 win against Knight on the 20th. As for Clovis West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-65 victory against Basic on the 20th.
