Olivia Loomis-goltl continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bridgeport, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Loomis-goltl has scored at least 25% of Bridgeport's points. Ella Schluterbusch was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.
Chase County bumped their record down to 2-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Bridgeport, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Chase County and Gordon-Rushville will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at. Gordon-Rushville's defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so Chase County's offense will have their work cut out for Chase County. Bridgeport will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ogallala at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Ogallala will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Bridgeport is ranked 17th).
