Logos came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis with a 37-32 victory on Tuesday. That five point margin sets a new team best for Logos this season.
Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tariq Mayo, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals. Mayo hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Hardy, who scored ten points along with eight steals and five assists.
Logos' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5. As for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
Logos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Hopefully Providence Classical Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday.
