Patton waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the R-S Central Hilltoppers a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Patton, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Patton's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-2. As for R-S Central, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Patton will challenge rival West Caldwell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, R-S Central is set to face off against their familiar foe East Burke at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
