The Dixie County Bears will head out to  take on the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Dixie County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.

The team  relied heavily on  Holden Beauchamp, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joel Lord, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  RBI.
 Dixie County  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .575. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, P.K. Yonge fell victim to Palatka and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  11-0 to the Panthers.
 P.K. Yonge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Davis, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  double.
 P.K. Yonge has also been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record  this season. Dixie County's victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
 Dixie County beat P.K. Yonge 8-3  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dixie County since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
