Division I - South recap November 13, 2013
Pinkerton added to the longest winning streak in Division I - South this week by beating Londonderry, 55-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Astros.
Pinkerton took down the Lancers 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Londonderry's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jonathan Young contributed 147 yards.
Young was a passing and rushing force as Jon Rich's team fell to Brian O'Reilly's team. Young's key target this week was David Wiedenfeld, who caught 3 passes for 11 yards.
Young was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 147 yards on 21 carries as the Lancers lost to the Astros. Teammate Aaron Gaudet added to the ground attack by rushing for 21 yards.
Londonderry's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lancers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Gaudet has thrown for 701 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Eric Fairweather has 22 catches for 208 yards.
Pinkerton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,464 from 2,792. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 55-7 victory over Londonderry last week.
