Softball Recap: Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Central took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Dexter, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Red Devils narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Central now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Dexter, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central is set to face off against their familiar foe George Stevens Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dexter will square off against rival Foxcroft Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
