Solomon waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 64-54 victory over the Washington County Tigers. This was payback for the Gorillas, who suffered a 45-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Solomon pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Washington County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solomon will take on Elyria Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington County, they are taking a road trip to take on Smith Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington County is facing Smith Center at the right time seeing as Smith Center is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
