After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Foxborough, Seekonk was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Case Cardinals 4-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 two weeks ago.
Javi Borges was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Jonathan Tawa also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Seekonk hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Case struck out six times.
