The Master's Academy Eagles meant business on Saturday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Lions squad that has allowed just 27.8 points per contest. Master's Academy claimed a resounding 61-33 victory over Foundation Academy at home. This was payback for Master's Academy, who suffered a 75-38 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Master's Academy can attribute much of their success to Maria Newman, who scored 25 points. Sage Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Master's Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Foundation Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Master's Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against The First Academy at 6:30 p.m. As for Foundation Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
