Cheraw won the last time they faced Walsh and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cheraw was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-15.

Cheraw can attribute much of their success to Brilyn Miell, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Miell has posted over her last seven matches.

Miell wasn't the only good servers: Cheraw was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Walsh only served two.

Cheraw's record now sits at 13-7. As for Walsh, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

Cheraw has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Simla on the 25th. As for Walsh, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] on the 28th.
