West Lincoln has not had much luck with Newton-Conover recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, West Lincoln got a solid performance out of Mikalister Anderson, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gideon Allen, who scored 13 points.
East Burke's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for West Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
