Lyons won the last time they faced Hinsdale Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions didn't even let the Red Devils on the board, marking the Lions' second-straight 2-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Lyons not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hinsdale Central between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Hinsdale Central's loss came despite strong showings from Ken Reodica and Harry Hughes. Reodica had 14 digs, while Hughes had 14 assists and four digs. Hughes is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 13 games he's played.

Lyons pushed their record up to 25-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hinsdale Central, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-23.

Looking ahead, Lyons will head out to square off against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hinsdale Central, they will face off against Nazareth Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
