Trinity Collegiate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jae Thomas, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Wilson, who scored 17 points along with five assists and five steals.
Trinity Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for First Baptist School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Trinity Collegiate on the road again on Friday and play against Hammond at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Hammond will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. First Baptist School will take on Porter-Gaud at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Porter-Gaud presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than First Baptist School in South Carolina (Porter-Gaud is ranked 23rd, while First Baptist School is ranked 123rd).
