While losing is never fun, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Episcopal is ranked 34th).
Meanwhile, Madeira's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They suffered a rough 56-30 defeat at the hands of Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes' loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Madeira, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes strolled past Madeira in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 48-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
