The Tahoma Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Liberty Patriots at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Tahoma is looking to tack on another W to their 11-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Tahoma put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They blew past Mt. Rainier 62-24 at home. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Mt. Rainier is ranked 210th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Liberty scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Interlake on the road to the tune of 72-32. Liberty has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 27 points or more this season.
Tahoma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Liberty, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-5.
