Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln Southeast). They put the hurt on the Lincoln North Star Navigators with a sharp 7-1 win on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lincoln Southeast needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Their offense was hitting Lincoln North Star from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Emily Drummond led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lincoln Southeast's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5. As for Lincoln North Star, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Lincoln Southeast and Lincoln North Star will both be playing Columbus the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will host the Discoverers at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Navigators will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
