Ellington won the last time they faced Bolton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 14-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Ellington got a massive performance out of Michael Grimes, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jack Weigand, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Ellington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolton only posted an OBP of .348.

Ellington now has a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ellington will face off against rival Canton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Bolton is set to challenge their familiar foe Stafford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will also be Bolton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
