Yavneh Academy relied on the efforts of Sam Rael, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds, and Darren Sacher, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Rael has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Joe Schwartz, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Bishop Gorman is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. As for Yavneh Academy, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.
