Jaden Haywood Delivers Best Performance of Season
East Hamilton was led to victory by Jaden Haywood, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Haywood wasn't messing around, rushing for 333 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. The contest was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards.
The victory (which was East Hamilton's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Haywood and East Hamilton will square off against Walker Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caleb Carr Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Rhea County came up short on Friday despite Caleb Carr delivering his best game to date. Carr rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 97 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This season, Carr has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 114.8 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 61.83 passing yards per game.

On the season, Dakota has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 32.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 10.14 receiving yards per game.
