King's Christian lost  19-9 to the Holy Spirit Spartans on Wednesday.
  MJ Pancurak and  Joseph Demirjian stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Pancurak  scored a  run while going 2-for-2, while  Demirjian  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4. Demirjian has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Aiden Lawlor, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Holy Spirit's side,  Gavin Cohen made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Cohen was even better at the plate,  going 4-for-4 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Breckin Weiss and  Bernie Hargadon did most of the damage at the plate:  Weiss  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while  Hargadon  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Torrance Cooper was another key contributor,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  RBI.
 King's Christian has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record  this season. As for Holy Spirit, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

King's Christian is on the road again  on Thursday to play Gloucester County Christian at 4:00  p.m. Gloucester County Christian is coming into the  matchup with three straight  wins at home,  so King's Christian will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Holy Spirit, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Millville at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Millville will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Holy Spirit surely won't give up without a fight.
