Burton is 0-3 against Hercules since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Burton Pumas will be home for the holidays to greet the Hercules Titans at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Burton came up short against Lycee Francais and fell 51-39. Burton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Hercules also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Pinole Valley by a score of 58-48. Hercules has not had much luck with Pinole Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Burton's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Hercules, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Burton ended up a good deal behind Hercules in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, losing 68-51. Can Burton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
