Butler County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on McLean County at Butler County at 7:00 PM. McLean County will be strutting in after a victory while Butler County will be stumbling in from a loss.
Things haven't been easy for Butler County, and their contest two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were given a punishing 0-58 defeat at the hands of Hancock County. The state rankings had actually given Butler County a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Last Friday, McLean County put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Todd County Central as they made off with a 41-7 win. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from McLean County's flat performance the match before.
