Bremen is 0-7 against LaVille since September of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bremen Lions will head out on the road to face off against the LaVille Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bremen fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wheeler on Friday and snuck past 21-18.
Bremen can attribute much of their success to Tyrus Graverson, who picked up 147 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, LaVille got themselves on the board against Whiting on Friday, but Whiting never followed suit. They breezed by the Oilers on the road to the tune of 50-0. The victory was familiar territory for LaVille who now have five in a row.
Cody Allen was his usual excellent self, rushing for 192 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. Jonathan Neese also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Bremen now has a winning record of 6-5. As for LaVille, their victory was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 10-1.
Bremen came up short against LaVille when the teams last played back in August, falling 17-10. Can Bremen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
