After a string of three wins, Kenyon-Wanamingo's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell  2-0 to the Canby Lancers. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing  2-0 to the Lancers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Mali Quam paced Kenyon-Wanamingo's offense, picking up five kills. Quam got some help from  Kendal Johnson and her six assists.
  Jaryn Houseman had an outrageously good game for Canby as she  had 21  digs and one assist. That's the most  digs  Houseman has posted  over her last six  matchups.  Grace Hansen also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Kenyon-Wanamingo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Canby, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
 Kenyon-Wanamingo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  2-0  win against Ely on the 20th. As for Canby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  loss against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on the 20th.
