Liberty put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Kofa Kings. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Abram Sherrin was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ervey Quijada was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one double. Those triples were his first of the season. Braden Watson was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Liberty kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive contests.
