Broken Bow extended the longest winning streak in C1 District 8 this week by beating Ainsworth, 40-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Indians.
Valentine lost to Chadron 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Kaden Dawe made the biggest impact on defense this week as Ord defeated O'Neill. He pulled down 1 interception.
Nick Valla was a passing and rushing force as the Chanticleers bested the Eagles. Valla's key target this week was Kamron Dawe, who caught 3 passes for 29 yards.
Valla was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 184 yards on 27 carries as Ord lost to Ord. Dawe also contributed to the rushing game with 52 yards on the ground.
Brock Eichelberger's team's Charley Burtwistle and Blake Cunningham have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Burtwistle has thrown for 811 yards this season, while Cunningham has 19 catches for 252 yards. Mark Hagge's team's Valla leads the league in rushing yards with 811.
Broken Bow led C1 District 8 in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on the Bulldogs.
