They had to suffer through a   90-55 loss at the hands of the Clayton Comets. Several Bengals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Abdou Diop, who  posted 14 points and eight  rebounds. Diop has been hot recently, having  posted eight or more  boards the last three times he's  played.  Chase Paullin was another key player,  going 6 of 12  to rack up 13  points and five  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Fuquay - Varina was working as a unit and  finished the game with 15  assists. This was only their 15th loss (out of 18 games) when  they've passed the ball that well.
Fuquay - Varina's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Clayton,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-8.
 Fuquay - Varina has already played their next game,  a  68-36  win against Corinth Holders on the 8th. As for Clayton, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  60-58  victory against Willow Spring on the 8th.
