The Central Cobras lost to the Okeechobee Brahmans back in November of 2022, but the Central Cobras didn't allow the Okeechobee Brahmans the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Central walked away with a 59-47 victory over Okeechobee. The win made it back-to-back wins for Central.
Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but AQUNAIS WEST led the charge by scoring 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of LOVELY GABRIEL, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Okeechobee, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central is on the road again on Thursday and play against South Fork at 5:30 p.m. on November 30th. As for Okeechobee, they will face off against Rockledge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rockledge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Wednesday.
