It was fun while it lasted, but Phoenix's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They were beaten by the Marshfield Pirates 60-32. The game marked Phoenix's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Phoenix fell to 4-1. As for Marshfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phoenix will take on Crater in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Philomath on Thursday.
