Central Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryan Rodriguez led the charge by scoring nine points along with 14 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Rodriguez pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Robbie Singh, who scored 17 points.
Buhach Colony's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Dylan Garcia was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Central Valley's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Buhach Colony, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-11.
Central Valley will face off against Golden Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Golden Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Buhach Colony, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Patterson at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Patterson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Buhach Colony in California (Patterson is ranked 215th, while Buhach Colony is ranked 953rd).
