Northwest Christian was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They skirted past the Naselle Comets 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolverines have posted since October 30, 2024.

Grace Dobbs paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Dobbs got some help from Katherine Armour and her seven assists. Sophia Donaldson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northwest Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Naselle, they moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Northwest Christian has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Mary M. Knight on the 11th. As for Naselle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Pe Ell on the 11th.
