The St. Francis Red Raiders will be home for the holidays to greet the Frontier Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep alive their perfect three-game seasons.
Even though Williamsville South scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, St. Francis still came out on top. St. Francis walked away with a 70-57 win over Williamsville South.
St. Francis had a senior duo take command as Nicholas Bienko scored 14 points along with six assists and three steals and Jeremiah Neely scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Neely's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Edwards, who scored nine points along with five assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Frontier humbled Lake Shore with a 72-44 victory.
St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Frontier, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
