Softball Recap: Orangeville's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

After a string of five wins, Orangeville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 15-6 to the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Orangeville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orangeville will square off against Durand at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they will face off against Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
