The Elma Eagles fell victim to the Eatonville Cruisers''s stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Cruisers 44-0. Elma has struggled against Eatonville recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Eatonville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Griffin Clevenger, who picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown. Dylan Norman and his 86 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Eatonville's victory.
Elma's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Eatonville, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-4.
