There's no place like home for Sycamore, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ottawa Pirates on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Sycamore not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ottawa between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.

Sycamore's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Ottawa, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13-2.
